Simple & Effective...Get This Proven GO-TO Drill!!!

Simple & Effective...Get This Proven GO-TO Drill!!!

Nowadays there's just so much to consider... Not only practicing, but video, writing, recording, and all the Social never seems to slow down... not to mention if you're learning another instrument besides. If you're on your own and no one is cooking for you, then what?

I've got ya!

When my website went down last Thanksgiving (hosting server issue -time for a re-boot like it or not)

I got to thinking all the things that go into being a drummer, and especially if you're working as a drummer... Or you're wanting to work as a drummer, or, have already moved to a bigger music market-- whaddya do?

I may not be a drummer you've heard of... But, MUSIC has been good to me!

I've been doing this thing for years and in different music markets. Even back in the day when besides teaching drum lessons all afternoon, I'd either stop for drums quick or go straight to set-up and find some way to take care of nutrition and rest hacks;  Allowing me to keep playing and run into the early morning. Usually 6-7 days a week.

And although I'm 'not a big-name drummer', I have been fortunate to play with several guys that I used to read on the back of recordings (never thinking I'd meet them much less be on stages with them, and call many of them friends)...

I've gotten to play all around the US. Europe, Canada, on a tour bus for most of four years, and thousands and thousands of stages from small to countless concert stages.

We've played when happy, tired, sick, excited, heat-stroke, all of it... Crowds of 8 to 85,000 people, maybe beyond.

And I have acquired a lot can help anyone with less experience. Like, giving you hacks that are time and energy-savers.

What to watch out for musically - Do you know there is proper jam-session etiquette?

How to 'read' your bandleader, or the person running the recording session, so you can be The Man!

Health considerations when out gigging, on-the-run, cramming tunes.

Generally, tons of observations that I've learned the hard way... That you may want to steer away from... or not.

And "Secrets" -that can save you countless hours. Some I picked up while taking lessons with some seriously "big-name drummers"... and many of the "secrets" through just hanging out, being in clubs among and experiencing world-class players at close range.

And also best practices from the privilege of getting to teach drummers of all ages and skill levels.  Helping some get to music programs, (a couple scholarships-yeah man).
